UFO Episode Guide
UFO follows SHADO’s attempts to detect and stop alien incursions before the public learns that extraterrestrial visitors are abducting humans and harvesting their organs. Its 26 episodes move between Moonbase interceptions, terrestrial investigations, underwater operations and the personal consequences of maintaining absolute secrecy.
ITV’s regional structure meant UFO was transmitted in several different sequences, and modern releases have not always agreed on a definitive order. This guide follows the original ATV transmission sequence, which introduces Paul Foster near the beginning and provides a reasonably coherent progression through the series.
Before You Start
- This guide covers all 26 episodes.
- Episodes are listed in the original ATV transmission sequence.
- Other ITV regions, streaming services and home-media releases may use a different order.
- The programme is largely episodic, so most alternative sequences remain watchable.
- Summaries introduce each episode without revealing its final outcome where possible.
- Later entries may reveal developments from earlier episodes.
- Skully’s Picks identify particular highlights, not instructions to ignore SHADO’s remaining incident reports.
- The series ends without resolving the wider conflict with the aliens.
