Jasika Nicole is an American actress and illustrator known for her engaging performances in television and film. Born on April 10, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, Nicole pursued an education in theatre and dance at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Nicole’s breakthrough role came in the acclaimed science fiction television series “Fringe”, where she played the intelligent and resourceful junior FBI agent Astrid Farnsworth from 2008 to 2013. Her performance in “Fringe” garnered her praise and recognition for her ability to bring depth and warmth to her character.
