Altered Carbon – a Poem

Poem:
Altered Carbon, the future is bleak
Where death is no longer unique
Bodies are just sleeves to wear
Your consciousness now a flare

Unlimited life is the new peak

Technology rules the land
People’s morals no longer stand
The rich live forevermore
While the poor suffer and deplore

Altered Carbon, a harsh command

Haiku:
Digital afterlife
Sleeves and stacks, life is a game
Infinity reigns

Limerick:
In Altered Carbon, you’ll find
A future that’s equally kind
You’ll never truly die
Just transfer and fry
But the rich leave the poor behind.
