Billy Postlethwaite, born William John Postlethwaite in 1989 in Shropshire, England, is a British actor known for his work across television, film, and theatre. He is the son of the late actor Pete Postlethwaite and former BBC producer Jacqueline Morrish. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the arts, Postlethwaite developed a passion for acting early on. He pursued formal training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), beginning his studies in 2008 and graduating in 2011.
