Alexandra Daddario

Alexandra Anna Daddario, born on 16 March 1986 in New York City, is an American actress renowned for her versatile roles in both television and film. She is the eldest child of Christina, a lawyer, and Richard Daddario, a prosecutor and former head of the New York City Police Department’s counterterrorism unit. Her paternal grandfather, Emilio Q. Daddario, served as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Connecticut from 1959 to 1971. Daddario has a brother, Matthew, and a sister, Catharine, both of whom are also involved in the entertainment industry.

Raised on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Daddario attended the Brearley School and the Professional Children’s School. She later enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College but left to pursue acting full-time. She has studied the Meisner acting technique for several years, honing her craft.

Daddario’s acting career began at the age of 16 when she was cast as Laurie Lewis in the soap opera All My Children, appearing from 2002 to 2003. On a personal note, Daddario began a relationship with producer Andrew Form in 2020. The couple announced their engagement on 2 December 2021 and married in June 2022. In July 2024, Daddario revealed that she was expecting their first child after previously experiencing a miscarriage. She announced the birth of their child on 31 October 2024, sharing her joy with her fans and followers.
